I know, More art

But it's cute!

The other day, we watched original Transformers:

And Reese used her incredible art skills to draw a scene for Liam:

She did not have the above reference shot.  She drew it from memory.

Graduation

Liam and Reese both had graduations this year.  Liam went to 1st year preschool graduation, and Reese participated in her Kindergarten graduation.  Just a side note, both kids got to pick out their graduation day outfits.

At Liam's Graduation Did they did an introduction song for all the kids, around 50 of them.  They were supposed to stand up and say, "Hello There!" or "Happy Graduation" when their name was called.  Liam was confident but very brief.

They sang some songs.  Liam was a little tardy on the actions, but I think singing is one of his favorite things at school.

Getting his diploma from Miss Margene.  When asked what his favorite part of preschool was, he replied, "Learning the letters."

Liam's diploma

Reese's graduation was awesome. They recited one poem, gave each of the 9 kids present a diploma and then the principal talked for 2 minutes and then it was over and we ate treats.

Reese, like Liam, was more concerned with what she was saying than in doing the actions.

School Work

Just a couple of things

End of School year work:

Reese's sentence was going to say "I like to cook with my mom."  But she got a sticker for it, anyway.

The other side of the worksheet.

This is where Liam stayed all year long- he would start out with a little bit of effort and then just not finish.  He was way more interested in socializing than getting his work done.

Reese made me this sweet card for Christmas 2013, but I forgot to post it.

And this is the inside of the card

.  I think they did these silhouettes at Liam's preschool for Mother's Day. It's 18"x 12", so I had to scan it in in 3 parts and photoshop them together.  But I love it so much it was worth the extra effort.

Liam's artwork is kind of at a "few lines suffice" stage.  They may look like scribbles to you, but he knows exactly what he's drawing.
