Easter

Easter morning spent at the Faber's, Easter evening at the Heath's.  Egg hunt at each location, though I didn't have my camera out for the Heath's.  (Hint to Mike to send me some pictures.)

Easter Egg Hunt

We were worried about chocolate melting in the eggs, so rather than putting chocolate candy in them, Shelly and Matt put tickets in them.  Then Shelly set up a prize counter a la Chuck E Cheese and let the kids pick out what candy they wanted, a long with a special prize courtesy of Gramma Leah.
It was so cute!

We tried the coloring eggs with Kool-Aid this year in addition to the store bought dye.  I think I'll stick with the store dye.  The Kool-Aid made a speckle patter that was pretty, but I don't want it on all my eggs. We also did tattoos again.

Peach got a haircut today.

Playing around

From a visit to Texas to spend time with my best friend! (And her mom.)

While I was visiting, Britt's mom had a birthday, so we made a German chocolate cake.

(May or may not be actual age)

That One Time it Snowed

I think it snowed twice this past winter.  Liam got to play in it it before it melted.  Really, with how much we got that day, who'd've guessed it would have melted so quickly?

St. Patrick's Day

Once again, the St. Patrick's Day festivities!  We like to keep it simple 'round here.  I'm not competing with the parties-games-and-crazydecorations stuff that other supermoms have going on.

We added green bread to the usual corned beef and cabbage meal.  It was tasty.  Liam wouldn't touch it.

We also get new festive shirts every year. The only pic I could get of Liam's was blurry.

He was more interested in showing off his bear, Beebee.

Reese, on the other hand, was more than willing to show off.
